The Challenge
A national multi-site gourmet food distributor was using a labor intensive paper-based
system to receive, pick and ship product. This caused mis-picks, mis-ships and mistakes
which resulted in decreased customer satisfaction and profitability.
The Solution
BCSI preformed the site survey - analyzed and designed
the network solution - installed the wireless backbone and integrated the wireless
data collection devices with their AS 400 main frame. Training was conducted on
portable data terminals and forklifts mounted terminals.

The Challenge
A large northwest retailer with 22 sites including retail, warehouse and outdoor
space was using a paper-based system to track inventory and sales. The company was
growing fast and needed better visibility and tracking of inventory and needed real-time
accurate information.
The Solution
BCSI provided the wireless systems using Cisco 352
and Symbol MC 3000 portable data terminals and on-going consultation and support
for their upgrade wireless system and equipment connecting new locations for technical
efficiency.

A $100 million international shoe manufacturing and distributing company's legacy
wireless system lacked security protection and was increasingly difficult to maintain
and service.
The Solution
BCSI was called in to conduct a site survey and deliver
comprehensive coverage for the facility, provide security and updated hardware.
An 802.11b system with WPA TKIP security was installed and newer more efficient
portable data terminals delivered. On-site training was provided and on-going support
is being provided.
